02 — Product
omdx AI
A self-hosted AI server and agent. It runs on your own hardware with local models, so your documents, media and data stay on your infrastructure by default.
Coming Q1 2027 · in security auditomdx AI is currently undergoing a security audit before public release, with release expected around Q1 2027. omdx AI enforces strict controls to protect its users and the public, in line with Canadian legal requirements. - Local by default. Works with Ollama or any OpenAI-compatible model server on the same machine. No telemetry; cloud GPUs are used only when you opt in.
- OpenAI-compatible API. Point existing OpenAI clients, scripts or Open WebUI at it and get the agent, with its tools.
- Model Context Protocol. Exposes its tools as an MCP server, and connects to the MCP servers in your own applications.
- You stay in control. Bearer-key access, loopback by default, and anything that writes files or runs commands asks first.

Local Whisper transcription of audio and video, with an OpenAI-compatible transcription endpoint.
Image understanding
Object detection and tagging, plus captions from a local vision model, for photos and video frames.
Text from images
On-device OCR (RapidOCR or Tesseract) for reading text from images, screen recordings and video frames.

Big jobs without buying a data-centre GPU
omdx AI can integrate with compute and GPU cloud providers. For time-sensitive projects where speed to market matters, you can opt in to cloud GPUs: long training or model-build runs that would take many months on local hardware can finish in days, depending on the job, without buying a data-centre GPU such as an NVIDIA H100. Everyday work stays on your own hardware; cloud GPUs are used only when you choose to send a job there. Legal and financial workloads stay in Canadian data centres and cloud regions, even when cloud GPUs are used.

An audio/visual communications protocol for moving data to and from air-gapped systems, and for operating air-gapped terminals without a network connection.
In development- Sends a directory as a high-contrast on-screen code or an audio tone stream; the receiving side reads it with a camera, screen capture or microphone and rebuilds the files.
- Keeps directories, permissions, symlinks, timestamps and Git history intact.
- Operating air-gapped terminals over the same channel is designed and planned for a later release.
Built for authorized use in secure, isolated environments, by the people responsible for those systems.

Game and program development for kids
Kids learn to design and program their own games using omdx-game-engine, our small, data-driven 2D engine for the browser.

We are building a legal-information and research tool focused on Nova Scotia family law, designed to help people find and understand the relevant legislation, rules and case law.

- Private by design. Built to run on infrastructure we control.

Omnio Dynamics Inc. is an independent technology company based in Port Williams, in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley. We serve small and medium businesses with compute, applications, networks, security and full SDLC workflows, and focus on four areas: education, legal, financial and AI.
We take on a small number of consulting engagements at a time and put the rest of our effort into our own products and services: omdx AI, hosted business applications and teaching kids to build games.
